1. Introduction
QlickZ is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your event guests. We build event-grade software where data security is implemented directly by design. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is handled, and our secure ephemeral processing architecture.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two main categories:
- Admin Account Information: Email address, business name, registration details, active hardware IDs, and billing/payment transaction logs.
- Event Data: Raw image captures, processed AI makeovers, and temporary delivery contact details (like phone numbers input for SMS sharing).
3. Secure Sandboxed Storage & Auto-Purge Protocol
QlickZ operates a zero-persistence policy for personal media. We do not store raw photos or facial database details indefinitely. Our application utilizes a sandboxed filesystem layout:
- Windows (Electron): Original captures and AI-generated outputs are stored strictly in the system's local, hidden Temp directory (`appDataPath/temp/QlickZ`).
- Android (Capacitor): Media is restricted to the sandboxed private `Directory.Cache` area, preventing standard photo galleries or third-party apps from indexing the images.
- Auto-Purge Loop: The application automatically executes an initialization purge loop. Every time the kiosk app is opened or exited, it completely wipes the local output, uploads, original captures, and cache directories clean.
4. Third-Party AI Data Processing
To generate high-fidelity makeovers, raw images are securely transmitted to our AI rendering APIs. The image is processed in memory, and the stylized output is returned. These API connections use HTTPS encryption, and the data is deleted from the rendering cache immediately upon task completion.
5. Data Security Standards
We implement robust industry standard security safeguards to protect admin databases and licensing key records, including SSL encryption on all incoming traffic, token-based API authentication, and KV storage access locks.
